At SXSW conference, CNET's Daniel Terdiman tweeted that Android and Chrome head Sundar Pichai has said that Google will release their own Android SDK for wearable tech in 2 weeks time.
I'm sure once this SDK comes out, than we are probably going to see many more smartwatches running on Android. This is good news for Android fans. Looking forward to how all this pans out.

This could mean several things, first, this kind of cements the idea of a Nexus smartwatch that LG is rumored to be manufacturing along with Nexus 6, later this year. And this could also mean that Google Glass will also be taking advantage of this Android SDK by Google, which will soon be taking a plunge to Android Kitkat.Credit: Daniel Terdiman/CNET |
