Send Text messages from your PC using your CURRENT Android phone number!

The Android app I'm going to showcase today allows us to receive and send text messages from our computers directly. So if you are busy doing some work or doing an important project on your PC and don't have time to see your texts and reply your friends. This app can certainly help you do it all from your PC browser.

To accomplish this task you need a Chrome browser and Android device to work in tandem. First, you have to download an app from the Play Store on your Android device called Mighty Text SMS. Then, go to the Chrome Web App Store and download Mighty Text extension. Sign in both of them with the same Gmail account you use for your Chrome browser and Android phone and you are done.

That's it guys, next time you get an SMS on your Android device, you will instantly see a notification in your Chrome browser which you can open and reply directly from there. It also has several other useful features as well. When you click on the Mighty text extension in your browser, it will take you to the mighty text website, where you can see all your contacts and your conversations list.

It also tells you the status of your battery and alert you when you get a call on your phone. You can initiate group messaging right from the website, send SMS and MMS, even backup your messages from your Android device. You can also sync your photos and videos from your phone to the website. It gives you a startup space of  around 5GB.

One of the coolest features of mighty text is that you can even make a call from your PC, which will be transferred to your Android device instantly. You can manage your calls and messages right from the web browser and is convenient for people who spend a lot of time online, they can just install this app and stop worrying about missing a call or a message on their phone.

If you choose to go pro and pay 2.49 US Dollars per month or 30 US dollars per year, you get a lot of interesting and powerful features such as message scheduler, contact lists, sending bulk messages, support to backup messages forever, 50 GB of space, faster service, themes and ability to block numbers. That's some really cool features. But for an average user the basic and free features are good enough to get the job done.

There are many apps in the Play Store that serves the same function, but Mighty Text is the most polished and powerful of the lot. Give it a go friends and do share with us how useful it was for you. If you happen to use any other app similar to this one, do share with us.
